Arrows:
The arrow keys help to navigate through on-screen menus.
The right arrow pulls up the Mini Guide to display what's on the current channel at that time. When pressed again, it previews up to 14 days ahead.
The down arrow accesses on-screen playback controls while watching any video.
Back Arrow: On other remotes, this is the "Last" button: Returns to the previous channel or guide screen.

This displays detailed program information.
Page Up and Page Down:
Jumps several rows up or down in the guide and other menu pages.
Skips 10 minutes forward or back while watching Xfinity On Demand.
Skips five minutes forward or back while watching any live TV or DVR recording.
Microphone: Activates the voice control on the remote.
TV Input: Selects available inputs.
A (Triangle): Press the A button to view the Help menu.

To use your Xfinity remote as a TV guide, the following steps should be followed:
1. While the TV is on, be sure you are pointing the remote towards the TV while setting up.
2. Press and hold the Xfinity and Mute buttons on the remote for five seconds until the remote light at the top (LED) changes from red to green.
3. As soon as it changes, enter the first five-digit code listed for the TV manufacturer. As the code is entered, the remote light (LED light) will blink on each digit entered.
Note that after the code is entered, the remote light blinks to indicate if the code is valid.
Two green blinks signify a valid code
Red blink and a green blink signifies an invalid code.
4. If the remote blinks twice signifying a valid code, aim the remote at the TV, and press the Power button.
5. If the TV turns off, turn the TV back on and verify that the Volume button and Mute button works.

However, if the TV does not turn off, repeat the procedure with the next TV manufacturer device code.
If none of the device codes operate the TV, find a code that works for your TV.
